GIS Specialist

We are hiring a Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist to help us develop GIS-based services in the aviation domain. We use technologies like GeoServer, OpenLayers, QGIS, GML and others.

Main tasks

• Design aeronautical charting products and services in collaboration with software developers

• Manage and configure GIS software

• Collect and analyse GIS requirements from our worldwide customers

• Keep up-to-date with GIS standards and technologies

• Advise management and developers on GIS topics

Qualifications

• Master's degree in geography, geomatics or similar

  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics or engineering with personal interest in geography

  • Other University degrees, notably English, Aviation or Aerospace engineering, combined with a strong interest in geography and computers will be considered as well

• No experience required

• Good usage of computer and office software (spreadsheet, document edition, email)

• Good written and verbal communication

• Professional presentation

• English level: minimum level: mid-B1 (CEFR), 53 (TOEFL iBT), or 4.5 (IELTS)

  • Priority will be given to candidates with mid-B2 (CEFR), 65 (TOEFL iBT), or 5.5 (IELTS)

Internship

Paid internship is available for Master's degree students and last year of Bachelor's degree students.
